A Happier, Healthier You
At The ATL Therapist, individual therapy is tailored to your personal goals! I see children aged 7+, teens, and adults for one-on-one therapy regarding various issues. Whether it's how to cope with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, or more, I will utilize a variety of strengths-based and collaborative techniques to validate your life experiences, make sense of who you are, figure out what's working or not working in your life, and finally, explore how we can do more of what works to bring about positive change in your life and relationships!
Whether you're newlyweds or long-time lovers, therapy can be a powerful catalyst for change in a relationship riddled with disagreements, distrust, anger, miscommunication, or betrayal. I see couples of all orientations, genders, and cultures, and I utilize many relationship assessments and interventions to help you and your partner discover how to navigate the trials of romantic relationships and learn how to emerge stronger - both as individuals and as a unit.
When it comes to families and conflict, there are many personalities, opinions, and emotions involved. I am trained to recognize and validate every member of the family in a way that honors the roles each of you play in one of the most influential systems you're a part of - your family system. Whether you need help navigating parenting, communication skills, or restructuring your family roles, I am here to help you and your loved ones live your most fulfilled life!
A Source of Support
Free group therapy sessions for teens, adults, and friends & family are offered for those coping with eating disorders and the families and friends who support them. The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders is a non-profit dedicated to the prevention and alleviation of eating disorders since 1976. ANAD Groups advocate for the development of healthy attitudes, bodies and behaviors. ANAD promotes eating disorder awareness, prevention and recovery through supporting, educating and connecting individuals, families and professionals. ANAD Groups at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates are provided as a community resource free of charge to attendees.
