
As we head into a new week, I challenge you to think about that ONE BIG THING in your life that you wish was different. You know the one - it popped in your head as soon as you read that sentence. Is it a difficult relationship? That 9-5 you settled for instead of pursuing your dream job? What about a passion that you let fall to the side? Or is it something more personal, like how you handle conflict, or your self confidence?
Whatever that ONE BIG THING is, it’s never too late to change it. As you face your Monday head on, think about ONE SMALL THING you could do today to make a step towards that big thing. Maybe it’s picking up the phone, or pulling up a job search engine, or thinking back to what you were doing when you were at your happiest, or standing up for yourself, or showing yourself some self-love.
Whatever that ONE SMALL THING IS, try to achieve it. And if that small thing still seems too big, then think even smaller. It’s not about how fast you get there, it’s just about getting there. So if you can check ONE SMALL THING off in the pursuit of your life goals, well, that’s one more check mark than you had yesterday. ✔️ #TheATLTherapist
